Rest day - Day 8

Didn't go anywhere today and it was relaxing.  Erin and Andrea did one of many loads of washing (and yes it was relaxing doing that).  Erin rode her bike around the caravan park roads and we dropped into the laundry on the odd occasion to hang washing out.  It was a clear, sunny day so there was also lots of playground visits (just across from our site), and chasey at the oval.  Becca got a chance to have a proper sleep in her bed instead of the car seat and enjoyed the playground as well.  She particularly liked the spiral slippery dip.  She also enjoyed chasing the magpies (or poppy's birdies) as she knows them.
Steve spent the day tinkering with the car and ironing out some little problems that sprung up over the first week of our trip.
The cats enjoyed being out in the sun, although restricted by long leads, but at least it was better than being stuck in the van while we are out and about.  After being here for nearly a week, they are a lot more confident to wander around.
I know we will sleep well tonight because Erin has had us on the move all day and both the girls crashed when they went to bed so in truth, our rest day was probably more tiring for us than a day trip but we still enjoyed it.
